Manufacture The Small Bathroom Vanities With Tops
Many small bathroom vanities with tops are made of laminate date. Installing a superior tile vanity in your bathroom is a great way to replace your antiquated laminate with a functional and elegant alternative. Installing tiles in your vanity top is reasonably cheap and can usually be finished in just one weekend.
Court saw a 2 by 4 board in small 2-inch blocks with a miter. Wood glue is applied to the blocks and screw them into place within the vanity. Measure the vanity top of the bathroom. Basic tar paper on the top of the plywood with a staple gun. The tar paper will act as waterproofing should any get water through the tile and the cement support plate. Measure and cut 1/4 inch cement support plate to fit tar paper on top. Draw the template of the sink on the top of the cement support plate. Dry the tiles on top of the cement support plate. Place tile spacers between each tile.
Spread fine mortar set on the support plate with a notched trowel. Place the tiles on top of the mortar until they have covered the entire vanity lid. A diamond blade saw can be used to cut the tiles to size when necessary. Wait for the mortar to dry overnight. Grout the vanity top with the grout and a rubber float. Once the vanity lid has all been grout, use a grout sponge to remove excess grout from the vanity lid. Allow the grout to dry completely. Install the sink and faucet according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
