How To Remove A Brick Wall Bedroom
Whether a brick wall is inside or outside a home, the structure can be removed in much the same way. If you remove an internal brick wall bedroom, it is important to look at the home’s drawings to ensure the brick wall is not a load-bearing wall. Once this is confirmed, you can remove it using the hand chisel stone for stone or use a faster method that will be less laborious.
Place a wheelbarrow near the brick wall to throw loose bricks inside. Wear protective goggles, leather gloves and respirators. Connect an extension cord to an electrical outlet to have plenty of room to work with. Connect a chisel hammer to the extension cord and set it to the lowest power setting to begin.
Hold the chisel on the chisel hammer to a mortar joint in the middle of the brick wall for bedroom. Push in the chisel hammer’s trigger and the angular mortar joint away. When the brick comes off, pull it off the wall and throw it into the wheelbarrow. Chisel’s next adjacent brick free from the brick wall and then other bricks to create a hole. Continue to break loose joints until brick wall is completely removed from space.
